WHAT IS ULTRACET ?
Ultracet Generic Tramadol, pain reliever, contains two pain-relieving agents. Ultracet is known as Pain killer Tablets. One of them is Tramadol which technically known as Opioid Analgesic, a narcotic pain relieving agent. Second one is Acetaminophen, which is potent pain-relieving ingredient that increases the effects of Tramadol.
Ultracet drug is used to treat moderate to severe pain and mostly all types of neuralgia. There are the possibilities that Ultracet Generic may lighten the effect of anxiety, depression and phobias.
Avoid taking Ultracet Generic Tramadol if you are allergic to acetaminophen and Tramadol, if you have taken alcohol, if you have taken other pain medicine, sedative or tranquilizer, anti-depression, or any type of drug.

HOW SHOULD TAKE ULTRACET ?
Ultracet Generic Tramadol is an oral therapy. Ultracet is available in the form of Ultracet tablets.
Ultracet Generic Tramadol can be taken with full glass of water with or without food or as directed by Doctor. Ultracet Doses depend upon condition of your illness. However 2 tablets per dose or maximum 8 tablets per day is recommended. The overdose of Ultracet Generic Tramadol may be fatal. Use exactly as prescribed. Never take larger doses or longer than prescribed by your Doctor.
Ultracet works best when you experience the first sign of pain and use it. If you wait until the pain gets worst, then Ultracet may not work in severe pain. If you use for longer period with higher doses, Ultracet may create dependency. And in these kinds of cases, if you suddenly stop, Ultracet may create withdrawal reactions. It would be better to reduce the doses slowly and quit.
Even after the prescribed treatment, if the pain continues, consult your doctor.
PRECAUTIONS BEFORE TAKING ULTRACET:
Before using Ultracet Generic Tramadol, let your Doctor know your complete medical history. You also should tell your Doctor if you are allergic to acetaminophen or Tramadol, if you are intoxicated, or if you have used following drugs.
- Alcohol
- Narcotic pain medicine
- Sedatives or tranquilizers
- Anti depressants
- Mental illness medicine
- Street drugs
If you have history of drugs, seizure disorder, head injury, metabolic disorder, brain infection, spinal infection, Liver Diseases, Kidney Diseases, asthma, breathing disorder, bowel diseases, difficult urinating, let your Doctor know. There may be higher risk of seizure.
If you take any narcotic pain medicine, mood stabilizer, antidepressants, there may be higher risk of side effects.
Let your doctor know, if you have taken Isocarboxazid, Phenelzine, Rasagiline, Selegiline, or Tranylcypromine within the past 14 days. It isn’t proved whether Ultracet is unsafe to an unborn baby. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or planning to be pregnant and if you want to take Ultracet Generic Tramadol.
Let your surgeon know about the treatment of Ultracet Generic Tramadol, if you are going through any surgery.
As Ultracet makes you dizzy or sleepy, be cautious while driving vehicle or operating machinery.
Your liver may be damaged by the ingredient Acetaminophen, do not use Alcohol while taking Ultracet Generic Tramadol.
Older adults may be more sensitive to the side effects of Ultracet Generic Tramadol. Talk to your health professional.
Ultracet has caused serious and even fatal allergic reactions in some people, typically after the first dose. Seek medical help immediately if you begin to have trouble breathing or break out in hives or blisters.
WHAT ARE THE SIDE EFFECTS OF ULTRACET ?
For any drugs and medicine, side effects are common. If you have following allergic reactions, seek immediate medical help.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I MISS THE DOSE OR TAKE OVERDOSE ?
If you miss the dose, take it as soon as you remember. If you don’t remember, then skip the missed one and go for next regular dose. You never have to take extra medicine to make up the missed dose.
Ultracet doses may be fatal one. So if you feel that you have taken more quantity than prescribed, seek immediate medical help.

- Jaundice
- Slow heartbeat
- Extreme weakness
- Dark urine
- Cold or sticky skin
- Loss of appetite
- Fainting or coma
ULTRACET has been prescribed for your current condition only. Do not use it later for another condition unless told to do so by your doctor. A different medication may be necessary in that case.
HOW TO STORE ULTRACET ?
Store Ultracet Generic Tramadol at room temperature. Never keep your medicine in humid place. Keep away from children and pets.
Do not flush medications down the toilet or pour them into a drain unless instructed to do so. Properly discard this product when it is expired or no longer needed. Consult your local waste disposal company for more details about how to safely discard your product.

Cold or allergy medicine, narcotic pain medicine, sleeping pills, muscle relaxers, seizures medicine, depression or anxiety can add to sleepiness caused by Ultracet.
